Ashley King is an established, firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Taxation Advisers, offering a comprehensive yet cost effective service.
The practice has grown from strength to strength, drawing on the wide variety of technical skills and practical experience of its principals, gained in professional practice as well as from first hand experience in industry.
Prior to setting up Ashley King, Raj Patel was a tax partner with a top 20 firm. He trained with a small firm of Charted Accountants, then moved on to do technical tax work, before returning to general practice work, which he enjoys.
We truly understand the needs of our entrepreneurial clients and are dedicated to providing a value for money service to enable them to realise the full potential of their skills and of the business resources at their disposal.

We keep a very close watching brief over our client portfolio and proactively engage with them so they kept abreast of latest developments in commercial and fiscal environment, and are therefore able to take timely action. We also educate clients as and when necessary so they are able to maximise use of the resources at their disposal and exploit their full business potential
Over the years we have forged many good working relationships with fellow professional practices and service providers abroad and are always keep developing further ones. When ever our clients need to work with professional practices abroad, we are pleased to affect introductions.
We also act for clients from a number of different business sectors ranging a small jobbing carpenter, restaurants, boutiques, farmers, chain of retail outlets, to multinational corporate entities involved in manufacturing and retailing in different parts of the world. However when it comes to service we value each client with the same respect, and each client of the firm can be assured of diligent quality service.
Our clients come from very different backgrounds. We act for numerous personal tax clients from a variety of professions and disciplines, such, doctors, dentist, opticians, chiropodists, and the like and also act for people from more diverse disciplines such as actors, novelists, inventors, university professors, teachers, fund managers, scientists, consultants, and each client has their own specific requirements.
Most of our client base consists of entrepreneurs and we have a broad range of experience and are well equipped to deal with most of the requirements on an on going basis. However from time to time it is necessary to procure external advice especially when dealing cutting edge issues, and cross border matters. In such cases, we use our wider experience to “hand hold” the clients through the process and help them apprise the advise received in a constructive critical and impartial basis.
We have a strong service ethos, and believe in delivering professional service to the highest standards without compromise efficiently and in a timely manner.
The needs of each client are different and whilst some package services in on a formulaic manner, we believe each client deserves specifically tailored services so they good quality service which is very good value for money.
